The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) has reached an agreement to licence the commercial rights of the FIA Formula E Championship to a consortium of international investors, Formula E Holdings Ltd (FEH).

Formula E is a new FIA championship featuring Formula cars powered exclusively by electric energy. It represents a vision for the future of the motor industry over the coming decades.

Racing without the noise? No roaring engines... Only the sound of tirescrub?
unless they do what audi did with there R8 etron, and synthetically create endinge sounds, http://youtu.be/eTnZW0LTiDc quite interesting still doesnt beat the sound of a wide open throttle V8 spinning at 18,000 RPM lol dont think you could ever beat that..

I was reading the news paper today and I came across this article about the upcoming Formula E which I just had to put into instagram due to the excitement. :p
