F1 2020 New gaming console new Ego engine ?

Do you think after the release of the new PS and Xbox, Codemaster will release a new 3D engine ? May be my memory is faulty but this current EGO was released with the PS4 and the Xbox 1 ?

There will be some advancements, but who knows what it will be...
They might ditch EGO entirely and end up using the SMS Madness engine.
