Gotta retire. Not a good enough driver to win it on his own and now that Merc has placated him they will go back to helping a much better driver. Whomever they choose should do the trick.
Well that has thrown the cat among the pigeons with Rosberg retiring from F1. I am assuming Mercedes AMG had been made aware of this and will have already considered what to do next.
Now it seems a driver slot has just become available who will fill the vacant Mercedes seat for 2017 the speculation will be massive and this news is huge for the sport.
