No rain effects while driving in rain?

Hello,
i suddenly see that there are no effect of raindrops while i'am driving in wet / rainy conditions.
Is it a false setting in the options? Or is there something ohter wrong.
I tried every preset setting from low to epic and there are no raindrops on my windscreen, but you see the effect on the case of the side mirror. So i can drive in the rain without wipers.

Can someone give me a clue?

I rememberd to change the Engine.ini file, and replaced it with the original one!
OK rain effect is back !
Sorry for the question, but i belive that the standard setting in game change also theses settings.

Engine.ini takes precedence over in game settings.
