The team is hoping to continue its success at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, having won the race the two previous years in WC, and having increased the lead in the world championship thanks to Bono Huis' win at Monaco. Jaakko Mikkkonen will return back to partner Huis in the world championship for this round.

In the World Series, Precision is hoping to return back to victory form. After two rounds of consistent finishes without victories, the team believes there is yet more to come.

Team manager Ondrej Kuncman commented:
"Canada is historically a great circuit for us. The need for great traction combined with bumpy straights and high curbs, makes it more challenging setupwise than previous races. Tyres are less of an issue than on previous tracks, nevertheless strategy options are still relatively locked so we won't see any surprises. I am sure we have done a solid job and results will prove that hopefully. The aim as always is to win both races and extend leads in championships."
