Problem with custom skins

So ive made a few skins and when i select one they show up great in the showroom. There even great while im the one driving in game.

The problem is that if an AI driver has any of the skins they look deformed and shredded.

Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on with them ?

Have i done something wrong creating them or is it the game ?

What was your process?
Did you used a "skins" folder?

Painted over the colour layer in the template.

saved the psd

flattened the image

saved the dds DXT5 with interpolated alpha to a new team folder containing 6 dds files and a veh file

Did you respect the name of each dds? For instance it is extraS.dds and not extra.dds.Overall, create a "Skins" folder in a existant team. Put your 6 .dds into it.Then delete your new team. Go to the selected team then showroom.With this, you can join any server with your own skin without crash.

Problem solved.

Im an idiot or the highest order.

When saving as dds i didnt generate mipmaps. So anyone else making their own skins and having problem.

Make sure you click to generate mipmaps.
