F1 2012 Problem with Multiplayer, HELP

Hi, guys. I'm new in F1 on Steam. Raced a lot in iracing and rfactor, yesterday bought f1 on steam and after Young Tests recived some bad feeling when I tryed to find any online race - No races at the moment...
So I would like to ask you guys a question - is there really no Races at ANY moment, or maybe I have some problems with my F1 or Steam?
btw On F1 Discussion in steam I found out that right now when i'm typing it there are 751 racers in F1 2012... =\

Hi you have to change your steam server to UK Man server .
Your countries servers may have very less players so change it.
You can change your server in your STEAM Prefs .

I guess you are talking about "Download Region"? Or what? If i'm not right - can u make a discription of what I have to do.

You may also want to check and open the following general ports for Steam :-

Your network must be configured to allow Steam access to the following ports (in order from highest to lowest priority for QoS users):
Steam Client

• UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive (Game client traffic)
• UDP 27015 to 27030 inclusive (Typically Matchmaking and HLTV)
• TCP 27014 to 27050 inclusive (Steam downloads)
• UDP 4380

Dedicated or Listen Servers

• TCP 27015 (SRCDS Rcon port)

Steamworks P2P Networking and Steam Voice Chat <<<------- do these also as it is a Steamworks game

• UDP 3478 (Outbound)
• UDP 4379 (Outbound)
• UDP 4380 (Outbound)

Where should we apply these port numbers ???
Iam getting MP issues like disconnctions.

You do it in the firewall of your router or modem.

If you don't know anything about port forwarding, you may want to go here :-

http://portforward.com/

From the drop down list select the manufacturer of your router

Now the select the model number of your router

Click Search

A page will open with a list of games and applications that can be selected. Once you select a one, you are shown a step by step guide on how to port forward for the game using YOUR router.

Under the letter 'S' is Steam Client & Steam Server. You might want to follow both of them.

If your game or application is listed, then the correct ports SHOULD be shown to you in the step by step guide.

The ports I gave you are from the Steam forum, they may be more up to date than portforward.com or they may be same. Whatever the case, the portforward guide shows you HOW to do it.

Everything is fine, thank you all. But now I have another question - which server is the most populated or where I can find informations about those servers and number of people on them?

Sorry I do not know this, as I do not race in public servers, just private servers.
