F1 2017 Problems with Headset

I've tried everything, but I can not use my voice in the game.

I try to talk to the engineer, but nothing happens.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Are you on PC? make sure you configure your sound and recording devices. You will need an actual microphone connected to your computer.

It's random for me since 1.10, it used to be fine before. Now, every now and then, my mic doesn't get picked up, and I go out and see my mic is still configured correctly - I don't have any other recording devices anyway, so it's set as default all-round. Then next time I enter, it works again.
