I got it for father's day and like most, some combos work better than others, and no real bad ones and so far having fun.

I find the newest content works better out of the box. I find the carried over content are just copy and paste with little to no work on the physics?

the game is on sale from time to time, but I have never seen the DLC on sale, are they ever?

I think you can get the deluxe version with the season pass at some of the key sites for a good price.
