F1 2013 Push to talk gives lag bubble

Does anyone know why i get a 0,5 second lag bubble every time i hit my "push to talk" button in online races?

I guess because either you or the host has a bad connection, or simply the VOIP in game is poor. These game aren't famous for their superior netcode

I assume that when you transmit you are sending VOIP packets, and it's interfering with your game connection.

Personally I always used to use teamspeak when playing any game online, never any in-game VOIP. However that's a personal choice
