Why is it so slippery compared to GTR2? Feels like im driving with slick tyres. Spining out in fourth gear at the straight and highest aero setting. What do you think?
I think you yhould watch this video (they're on slicks btw):Why is it so slippery compared to GTR2? Feels like im driving with slick tyres. Spining out in fourth gear at the straight and highest aero setting. What do you think?
Ok but, i would like to know why when using wet tyres it feels much more slippery than other simulators.I think you yhould watch this video (they're on slicks btw):

Very dry opening post....
This reminds me a guy from a forum which suggested to REMOVE storm from the game lol
ACC has obviously a realistic wet tarmac simulation, you also have to consider that there are different levels of wetness. OP, you probably would be completely destroyed if they will implement viscous hydroplaning on rubbered segments of racing line....
I think R1 was the TOP combined with physics of initial release, even if there were no viscous hydroplaning. I like R2 less, but so many legacy AC guys likes AC way, so good for them....
Those other simulators were doing it wrong.Ok but, i would like to know why when using wet tyres it feels much more slippery than other simulators.
R1 had bugged tires (at least the slicks were)...Very dry opening post....

Without TC is very unpredictable. Those other simulators were doing it wrong.
Puddles can produce instant loss of all grip, which is how it should be.
I didn't really find the wet track that bad for driving on, I thought it would be worse.

It was a bug until R2...it messed with the grip at slip angles above optimum, so slides were much harder to catch than they should have been.Thats interesting. I wonder what the bug did, as handling went along with my perception through majority of R1. Was it the bug all the way through R1, or just for first days ? As I remember for first days there was something weird, but later it got much much better, I actually thought that I just got used also suspected that TC was bugged at first.
Thats how it should be in the wet, you never know if there is 1mm or 3mm of water, also you don't know if the water will always escape from under the patch and sometimes if there will be enough irregularities to break the last film of water.
That's why the wet setups in ACC run full TC by default.Without TC is very unpredictable.
