Rate my Australian accent.

I was just doing an impression of an Australian cricket captain. I don't understand anything racist about it. It was purely voice acting.

Very well.

American actors like Angelina Jolie have spoken in an English accent before.

Nonetheless, I still respect your decision.

With the type of humour most of us Aussies have, then I doubt anyone woulda been offended....
In fact, depending on how bad it was, we probably would've most likely pissed ourselves laugh'n!:D
Anyone else here from 'straya feel the same?

I see nothing offensive about the original post, we aussies love taking the p### out of other's accents.
Not a bad impression actually Mohammed, just didn't throw in enough "maaaates" etc. :D

Close, but slower mate...
Like we've got awllll daaayyy...'ay
An' everyfin has got a Y or O tacked on or shortened to an A or little U

Stevo (Steve)
'Straya (Australia)
Barby (BBQ)

And we can make what is considered offensive obscenities mean anything depending on where they're used & the inflection....
From their original meaning to totally awesome, and everything in between.... ;)
Oh, & a lot of us also end statements like it's a question or we're seeking approval?
So it's going up at the end?

Once you master this we'll start ya on things like using chooks instead of chickens but just remember, we NEVER say Shrimp and we don't drink Fosters....
Thats sort of an insight into Australian humour right there!
