Rubens Barrichello is coming home

Former Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello will trade the American IndyCar Series for the the Brazilian Stock Cars V8 next season. The most experienced driver in Formula One history has been expected to make the switch after contesting several late-season rounds of his national V8 Game Stock Car championship.

The ex-Ferrari driver announced on Thursday that after 20 years of representing his country in various championships all over the world he will be returning permanently to Brazil to race in the domestic touring car series so he can be closer to his family and will pair with Full Time Sports that will prepare a Peugeot for the 2013 campaign.

Rubens is still one of the most beloved F1 pilots. To me he's a legend, others hate him. I don't care, he's the best Brazilian F1 driver after Ayrton the great. Good luck Rubinho.
