The reason i asked is when i've made those telemetry videos, i could swear i recorded the right lap but discarded them because times didn't add up... Just means that i did a butt load of unnecessary work.. Well, live and learn..
hope this helped.
firstly you need to work out how much fuel per lap you use, i use 2.8l for example, so then you take the amount of laps and multiply your use over one lap so my fuel load works out at 156.8l for the full race distance, divide that by how many stints, if 2 stopping then its a 3 stint so my stint fuel load works out at 52.2litres.
when making a preset id choose 53l and softs/meds so when i go into the pits i click confirm and thats it.
hope this helped.

I have no idea how you can go so fast and use so little fuel, my race pace will probably be 3-4 seconds per lap slower but I will need 168 ltr for the race. That's something else to learn now.
Did you acctually use this much fuel? I had 60+41+41=142 liters, I didn't notice how much I had left when I finished, probably 0,5-2,0 liters. And yes, I did 54 laps
EDIT: I use about 2,61 liters a lap, 2,61x54 = 140,94
It also depends on how much wings you use. With more downforce you also need more throttle in the corners and therefore you use more fuel. I used a couple of litres more than Nicolai because of that.
