Server discussion threads

I can't remember if I asked before or not but I'm wondering if server discussion threads are allowed in this subforum or not? When I ran ALOOG1 pub server we had a discussion thread in the AC chitchat forum which worked well. We have since changed to GRC and have nowhere to post content changes or organize events. Can we post discussion threads for free pub servers on RD or not? Not sure if it is a conflict of interests with RD premium service.
