Setting up a V8's

With the Virtual Stock Car Championship just around the corner I wonder if there is any "magic" setup that works well all around. Never raced competitive in any rFactor/GSC Leagues before and i know some games have bugs, where extreme setups does miracles. Just wonder if it is the case with GSC.
I'm using stock setup in V8's and it feels and works fine for me, but just wanted to make sure if it can be competitive and it's not holding me back.

I know i can test for hours and find and answer, but i prefer to ask an experts
