i've driven the shelby quite a lot around lake louise. not even now, months after my first run around the track, i didn't manage to complete a whole lap.

You might want to untick the 'Use Separate Shifter' in the controller menu. And then activate the auto clutch and the throtlte blipper in the realism control.

Edit: not sure if not using the clutch is the easiest way to drive this car... but as long as your find some comfort.
