Cars Shifting animation request

Hi,

For a video clip, I need the driver to push the engine start button, and for this I thought about editing the shift animation to make the arm go to the button instead of the gear selector.

But I don't know anything about animation, I just barely opened the driver model in blender :/
So if someone would help me to do this or do this by himself, that would be great.
