dMASS submitted a new resource:

[SIMHUB] BASS SHAKER WHEEL SLIP EFFECT FOR AC - Layered wheel slip effect designed for Assetto Corsa

Credit goes to Mr Latte for sharing the original layered wheel slip effect

The attached file had to be renamed to a .txt file, in order to import it to simhub you'll need to rename it from
Assetto Corsa - WHEEL SLIP.siprofile.txt
to
Assetto Corsa - WHEEL SLIP.siprofile

This was adapted from the original to work better in AC, results may vary in other sims as threshold and...

So this profile is just tweaking the wheel slip options in SimHub? Can you post a screen snippet?

I have a pair of these, which I am currently using just for the rear wheel slip:

Powered by one of these, and trying to make sure I don't turn it up too loud

So far trying to use the transducers more for information than immersion.

You will struggle to get the desired effect with the first 2 layers as your shakers aren't capable of very low Hz. I would recommend one of Buttkicker LFE/Buttkicker Concert/Earthquake Q10B for that. But if you want to try and get something going on them, change the frequency I have for
1. (Skid Out) 3/9Hz to 20/30Hz
and
2. (Slip) 22/10Hz to 35/25Hz

dMASS updated [SIMHUB] Bass Shaker Wheel Slip effect for AC with a new update entry:

Suggested changes for less capable hardware

If you have less capable hardware you will struggle to get the desired effect with the first 2 layers as your shakers aren't capable of very low Hz. But if you want to try and get something going on them, change the frequency I have for
1. (Skid Out) 3/9Hz to 20/30Hz
and
2. (Slip) 22/10Hz to 35/25Hz

how do i import it to simhub ?
thx
Hi, follow these steps

Step 1.
The attached file had to be renamed to a .txt file, in order to import it to simhub you'll need to rename it from
Assetto Corsa - WHEEL SLIP.siprofile.txt
to
Assetto Corsa - WHEEL SLIP.siprofile

Step 2.
In Simhub select "Profile Manager"
then
"Import Profile"
then
Select the file which the effect you want to transfer is on

Step 3.
Hover your mouse over the effect heading and then to the 4th icon across and select "Copy effect to clipboard"

Step 4.
Now open your own profile
then
Click the blue "Paste Effect" button at the top right of the screen

Step 5.
Now save your profile
then
repeat steps 2-4 for any other effect you want to copy over

the file i downloaded arent .txt
they end with .siprofile
but simhub doesnt show them when i want to import :/
I've attached screenshots step by step of how to rename it from Assetto Corsa - WHEEL SLIP.siprofile.txt to Assetto Corsa - WHEEL SLIP.siprofile.

It will then become available when you select "Import Profile" in Simhub

Send me your email through a private message and I'll send it to you there, or alternatively you can manually input the effects as pictured here. If you don't have powerful hardware to take advantage of low Hz then change the frequency of effect 1 and 2 as in the 2nd picture

These are fantastic. Any others to share? Currently using 4x Buttkicker mini LFE units with 2x Dayton APA150 amps. Might add one more to dedicate for engine vibration.

Curious about settings for Wheel Lock and Road Impact. Mainly want to really feel chicanes and grass

Engine vibration has been my favorite one since I can feel the cockpit properly vibrating at all of the correct points but since each car has different engines my stock settings do not suit me. Now that I have applied your Wheelslip and Suspension settings I have a small understanding of how to use groups. I can create Engine Vibration for GT, LM, F1 cars since the "sound pitch offset" makes a big difference depending on the car type.

I'd also be interested in any updated shaker profiles (for wheel slip and anything else) if you have them. Have been using your Porsche RPM profile on my new tactile setup (TST 329 and Buttkicker LFE powered by Behringer NX3000d) and really like it. Thanks!
