If only the drivers were not 8 feet tall...as it looks in the video...move the view about 2 feet forwards and it might look right.. If you look at the pic here you will notice that the wheel is about 8 inches away from the helmet...

You are very generous with your 8 inches. Going from past experience of actually sitting in a Formula 1 car, I'd suggest it was more like 12-15 inches.

Anyway this is a game and you need a slightly higher viewpoint in order to see what you are doing. A real driver has a lot more FOV than we can ever get. Immersion is the name of the game.

Well it's not for me I'm afraid. Too far away from the wheel for me personally and not high enough. Good work though.
