Sol PP destroys fps in VR. Is something wrong with my rig?

Hi,

So I've just started to get into VR. I settled with an Oculus Quest 2, not yet ready to get the super high end stuff yet.

I've been playing around with a bunch of settings and have been struggling to hit a stable 90fps, usually hovering around 50fps. On the Quest 2 I'm playing at 5152x2608 resolution.
My PC: 3080, 5800x, 16gb RAM, SSD.

Within content manager I decided to disable PP effects, and all of a sudden the experience is super smooth and am easily able to maintain 90fps on all tracks and all races. When I'm looking around it's all just completely smooth with no noticeable latency. It's as if I'm there.

Is this is common thing where PP effects, specifically Sol PP effects, kills fps? It's a bit of a shame because I kind of miss the beauty that Sol provides. Or am I doing anything wrong with the settings. I'm a noob with this stuff so any help would be appreciated.
