Some of the free VRC formula car's rear brake lights don't work

I just downloaded all the free VRC formula cars and tried them out. They are very nice, although most of them don't have working brake lights in the rear. Does anyone know why some do and some don't? Not sure if this is a bug or is this how the actual car works in real life.

Formula cars don't have brake lights, but quite often are fitted with a single rear facing rain light.
