Sort threads by creation date per default

At the moment the default sorting for threads is by "last activity" which is fine for most of the sub-forums. It would be nice to have the possibility, to change the default for selected sub-forums like the "AC Racing Club". Having this sub sorted by "creation date" would show the threads in the same order the races will be held (like a calendar)

This is not necessarily true. Many staff use a hidden prep forum to create event threads, sometimes making multiple events in advance on the same day. Any tweaks or changes would ruin the order when displayed using the thread creation date. Also special events are often created in advance and ahead of regular club races, so they'd be out of place too.

What we really need is a straight-forward calendar, but that is apparently already in the works.
