T300RS Dead Motor

Hello,
So I was hauling my t300rs on assetto corsa when it suddenly decided to give up on life. There is no power and no lights. There is more friction in the wheel than before even though nothing is connected to it. So I opened it up. So, when I disconnect the motor cable from the main board the friction goes back to normal (no cables connected). I have tried uninstalling and updating firmware and even tried bootloader but no success.

Does the motor smell 'sour' or burned?

I did not smell the motor but it looks totally alright. It spins like it should(used fingers to spin it). Although, when i opened the base it did smell like hot electronics(I dont know how to put it). Like....something was burning but i think that is normal. The black box on the left side inside the base gets really hot though.
