Hi guys
A while back a forum topic comment by NeoGrotesk led me to research the possibility of getting one of the gauges below and using it to emulate a Ferrari 312T4 Tacho
KKmoon Tacho
Well, I got one, and have it working; well, almost, anyway. The problem I have is that after a couple of minutes use, it starts to jitter back and forth, and it gets worse and worse until it stops working altogether. By resetting the power to the Arduino and tacho, it works fine again for a while, then starts jittering until it stops again.
I have it fed with 12v, and the only deviation from the schematic below is using four 10KOhm resistors in parallel to make a 2.5KOhm resistor, as I didn't have a 2.2KOhm one and everything was shut during Crimbo
Has anyone else used this and have any experience or advise that they can share? I posted this on the Simhub forum a week ago, and have had no answers, so I'm hoping that the guys on this forum are a bit more active!
Cheers
Les
