Time to make sure your lights work guys as we head off to Canada for a night race featuring the cars of the TC-65 class at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.
Slight change this time as we are bringing back pit stops so all please read the post linked below :thumb:

I'm in Andy, probably try the Alfa, but may look for something American to go with the Track.

EDIT: Gotta go with the yankee theme, so I'll try the Mustang, never driven it before but looks rather nice.

hmm..i tried a night race. Its not so dark i can easily drive without headlights, but the fps - mainly at start - drastically dropped.

Try decreasing the settings for the headlight effects (in the video settings). These have a very big impact on performance. It's all the headlights and the effects and shadows they produce that take a big hit on your performance if you don't have a mid-high end machine.

Might have to move me to reserves. Going to WTCC meeting at Brands Hatch on Sunday, I should make it on time but you never know with the traffic round here.:wink:

hmm...MK2 is damn slow...i can go 4 secs better with the cortina, and haven't tried the V8's yet..so i dunno which car i take for the race...im faster even with the Abarth then the jaguar

Which car is the quickest the falcon or the mustang

Ben, I tried a few laps using both cars and the Falcon seemed quite a bit faster. I'm going with the Mustang purely because it looks so cool, I don't care if it's slower. Winning isn't everything. :wink:

just did a 2:02.3 in the falcon with stock fuel on is this a good time

Nah Ben, can't be too good a time, even I managed a 2.02.6 with my brief test session with the Falcon (all of 3 laps). :evil:

Stop practicing, I can't do those times in the Mustang.

Oh blimey, I need more practice. Fastest I've managed to fling the Cortina round in has been 2.05.3xx. That worked up a sweat I can tell you:fear:

providing my l'il handbrake doesn't dig her heels in too much about me racing.

if so i'll take a 'stang,i find they are equal to the falcon with a good set-up.
haven't even d/l'd the track yet so don't know what time to expect.
