Thrustmaster T300 pedal rust?

So ive had my wheel set for around 3 weeks now, put in 50ish hours onto them and the pedals are getting brownish, pretty sure its oxidation

I use socks while im driving and dont have sweaty feet by any means, the set is great but considering it looks like this after a month, i dont want to think what it will look like after a year or so.

Can anything be done about this?

well you can always buy racing pedal plates and swap them instead your rusty ones .. your feet might not look/smell sweaty but they are .. just like any other feets ...

or you can try some of methods on internet http://www.ehow.com/how_4480346_remove-rust-from-aluminum.html ... I used to clean coins with Coke ..

No you really don't want to think about it. Mine aren't much over a year old and look like they've just been pulled out of the sea lol, not pretty.
