Time Accel fast timings bug applies to skip as well?

Does the time acceleration bug, which results in unrealistic AI timings, also exist when you simply continue to the race session avoiding the rest of the qualifying session?

I put in some good times that, from experience, I think should've gotten near the top of my class but when I skipped the rest of qualifying I was at the rear of my class. I was 2nd before I skipped.

*Even though it placed me at the rear of my class, I found I was able to get to top 4 within a few laps. So something's fishy there.

On a side note, I also noticed faster times at AI level 93 than I was seeing at 94 and 95. Is it dynamically adjusting AI timings based on my results in practice/qualifiyng above and beyond AI level?

That's the opposite: you should not skip part of the quali session, this is when you get random ai times. Using time acceleration to finish the session will keep realistic times.

Ah, yes, you're correct. I must have been confused in the past.

I've also been reading some past nogrip posts that random grid positions can occur if youdo not do Qualifying 2 (some of mine only had Qualifying 1).
