complete/win a final event for rally or landrush or... It will give you fearless for that part of the game.
AI will go up to brutal mode but only with all assists off, no changing the difficulty settings or it will drop back to custom with tough AI instead of brutal. So learn to race the game with incar view or you get to keep playing tough AI
