F1 2010 unusual graphic anomaly

I was playing F1 2010 earlier and noticed something that I'm sure wasn't there before. there is an orb over the right mirror. it changes colour depending on which direction the light is coming from.

any idea what is causing it?

Blind spot mirror

I've noticed it on the mclaren, just thought it was a badly shaded bit of the mirror housing.
Mine isn't quite as pronounced as yours look. Maybe I've got higher resolution / detail.

Haven't had this problem on the PS3 yet, Might be the reflection of the sun

it changes in intensity depending on which way the light is coming from, so I'm thinking it is part of the mirror that is poorly modeled. I just can't say that I've noticed it before now, which for something as obvious as that, I can't believe I would have missed it so easily up to now.
