Do we have to download the mod cars/skins or can we use a standard Kunos car for this event?

Yes you have to download them, although you can choose to run in a default Kunos car. It is needed so the game can render the other vehicles.

@Magnus Stjerneby Since you asked, here are my Oreca and DP setups. You'll want to tweak the Oreca setup though, I made it on the fly after my qualy run (never drove this car before) and I had some pretty ridiculous numbers on the tires during the race.

so many drop outs today. track is pretty cool but very demanding when going fast. and it has some weird corners. not sure if they are the same in reality. had some brain farts and made some mistakes because of concentration loss but finished first in class non the less.
