F1 2018 Use Career Driver/ Custom driver

Hi.
I have a question about the use of custom driver in F1 2018. Is It possibile to use It in Grand Prix mode? Or time trial?

Custom driver is mainly usable in Career, Time Trial and Multiplayer. Basically, you can use your character in any mode that you aren't forced to select someone.

You can use a custom character in Grand Prix, Event and Championship modes for classic cars only because the classics don't have default drivers. Modern F1 Era forces you to play as one of the real drivers.
