VRAM usage in ACC

I just completed a stress test of the A770-16 GB for GPU core temperatures but was a bit surprised at the amount of VRAM usage in ACC.
I set the AI up to do a one hour race at Misano and launched HWinfo64.
The sim was running on my R5-5600x which has 32GB memory.
It was also running on a 27" 1080p monitor capable of 144Hz and with most textures turned to high...a few like shadows on epic.
At most parts of the race, I was seeing better than 8GB of VRAM usage.Glad I bought that ARC A770 with a 16GB buffer.
8 GB would probably be a choking stutter-fest.

The game doesn't need that much VRAM on 1080p. It allocates more VRAM than it actually needs when you've got a lot of VRAM available.

You can play ACC perfectly fine on 1080p with 6GB VRAM.
