Warning of a phishing attempt on Steam.

Huh? So what are we supposed to do with this limited info then?
Peoples accounts have been hacked, and links are being sent supposedly by Steam friends.

Usually this message is sent twice.

Hey, Imagine, knocked this item <SNIP> Supposed image url removed

This is the scam.

Mod edit - How does this help? Directly linking to the scam file itself which is an .scr file. People should not touch .scr files, they are as bad a risk as .exe files, especially from unknown sources

Thus, the original post is actually the scam?

There will be a bot sending you a couple of links and if you click on either of them, they will download trojans to your PC.

If that happens, change your Steam password and perform a full virus scan.

The Steam community link will give you details and raise awareness of this recent phishing attempt.
