Don't think so. Maybe run as administrator, but from what I see on my shortcut, I've not even bothered with compatibility mode. UAC pops up and I click yes to run.
I was asking about Sketchup 6 and not 2016...
Anyways, I found out a way.
With Hyper-V I created a Windows XP VM, copied the installer into the VM image file, installed it onto Windows XP then copy/pasted that folder to my host machine, no need to install it again ever.
