Bugbear Entertainment have deployed a small hotfix update to Wreckfest, addressing recent issues surrounding the Sandpit 1 circuit.

Not long after a recent major updated to Wreckfest released and subsequently broke the imaginatively named Sandpit 1 race track, Bugbear Entertainment have been quick to deploy a small hotfix patch that addresses the track problems and game crash issues amongst some other miscellaneous problems.

Bugbear had the following to say of the new patch:

"Dear all, we just pushed out a quick update improving playability of Sandpit 1. Most of the broken geometry is now fixed, AI is functional for all routes and trackside cameras for Replay are in place. Furthermore, loading the track with grass enabled no longer causes a fatal crash. Phew!

Additionally, the ramps on the large derby Stadium were made smoother so as not to cause massive damage to the car in high speeds. The European hot hatch racing engine gearbox logic was improved as well and bogus rally tire upgrades removed".

The Next Car Game: Wreckfest update hotfix will automatically download next time you restart your Steam client.

Next Car Game: Wreckfest is currently available for Windows PC via the Steam Network. A proposed release to both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is scheduled for sometime during 2017.
