Note - when using career mode, if you drive for Sauber or Audi or mclaren, your number will not show up. Also, I would appreciate feedback as I have not been able to fully test this mod at every circuit. Remember that this doesn’t work if you simulate or accelerate time.

2018 season background:
In 2018, the FIA got rid of v6 engines in favour of v8 turbo hybrids (sound by: Ace9921). This caused 2 new engine manufacturers to enter and it caused Honda to leave the sport after a dismal 2017. Pirelli also decided to increase the wear rate of their tyres by 10% to try to make the races more interesting.

Team by team:
Mercedes:
After winning both 2017 titles the Mercedes team have fallen behind in all areas of development but are still near the front of the field. They keep their successful 2017 pairing and sign a Monster energy sponsor contributing to a new livery courtesy of TimeOut73:
Ferrari:
After a strong 2017, ferrari somewhat held back on their aero development to allow them to increase their engine performance. They also keep their 2017 pairing of Räikkönen and Vettel. They also keep their 2017 livery:
Red Bull:
Red Bull continue their aero dominance however, after falling out with renault, Verstappen and Ricciardo are now powered by an Aston Martin engine and have a new livery to boot courtesy of Zarresz:
Force India:
After another surprise 4th place Force India have lost some performance due to their Mercedes engine and have also lost Sergio Perez in favour of Mercedes junior George Russell.
Williams:
Like Force India, Williams have lost heaps of performance from their Mercedes power and are now one of the bottom 2 teams. They keep Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin replaces the retired Felipe Massa.
Renault:
Now that they only have 2 teams to focus on, the Enstone team have greatly improved their engine to the disgust of Red Bull. They have an all new line up of Robert Kubica and F2 star Oliver Rowland and they have switched to a livery that greatly resembles both their DAMS an E.Dams teams.
Torro Rosso:
Like Redbull, Torro Rosso switch to Aston Martin Power. They replace Daniil Kvyat with 2016 GP2 champion Piere Gasly and their new bright livery is the opposite to how their 2018 looks in testing.
Audi:
After wanting to return to Nascar, Haas F1 was bought out by Audi. The german manufacturer has taken advantage of the v8 rule change to create an engine far above all others. They bring with them German and Le Mans winner Nico Hülkenberg and Mexico's Sergio Perez. Livery courtesy of bootsy.
Mclaren:
After finally severing ties with Honda, Mclaren sign a Renault partnership that managed to convince Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne to stay. Livery by XCalinX.
BMW Sauber:
After securing a huge sponsorship from German manufacturer BMW, Pascal Wehrlein could stay at the team and Marcus Ericsson was dropped as the team's main backer was no longer Swiss. Ferrari also used their influence by giving sauber free 2018 engines as long as they gave a seat to F2 champion Charles Leclerc. Livery by dasd.
