Good job! Is there a way to put a car in a categorie? I want all lmp cars and gte cars in the le mans categorie, but there are only 2 dpi cars inside!?

As mentioned, they have to be tagged or named the way recommended in definitions.
To get more cars into the Le Mans category you have to tag them either 24h, lmp or they must have the class: 24h, lmp or name have to contain 24h Le Mans, LMP.
Hope this helps.
I can put GTE cars also in the definition for next update, if needed/wanted... :)
Still good. However, I think you're doing it wrong. There's nothing in common with cars made by the same modders, that's purely incidental. Say, Assetodrive makes a F1 and a Rally car... what's the use of having them merged into a common category? Will you set up a race between all Legion's cars because you like his work? Best course of action is to create categories that lead to easily setting up grids.

We have all our own approaches to this categories and how to use them. Nobody is forced to use them the same way I delivered them. If you don´t like the mods section, just delete the mods.json inside that folder.

For me it´s in that form very usefull as I maybe want to test a ACFL against an ASR car or from other modder.
I wrote in update description: "... but maybe you find it useful, too." Maybe not, is just one more option ...
And I also mentioned this meant as an possible approach to that CM tab, that didn´t get imo the attention it should get.
Improvements and changes could be made very easy and maybe also shared in the discussion thread. :)

Nevertheless thanks for your review and all the other ones, too. :)
Great work for aesthetic fanatics, thank you so much ! ;-)
Tip-top! Very very useful. Thanks buddy!
Excellent work, a great addition to CM. Thank you.
Thanks, Slider!
Great job, thanks!
This is a great help for creating custom grids. I agree that modders categories aren't necessary but you often have to edit the brand names in those mods so they reflect the proper brands. How are you determing the races series like F1, IMSA etc.? I would like to see additional series like CanAm, TransAm, Nascar, Blancpain, etc. I add those tags to my cars metadata in CM. Can I add that to the UI or is that something you can do in a future update?

We should discuss that on the support page
(https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/new-car-track-categories-and-flags-for-content-manager.173235/)
But in general, yes you can edit the json files and make your own filtering with new icons.
Amazing. I had this done a while ago, and lost in during a CM reinstall. Suggestion: don't include modders categories, such as "assettodrive". They don't mean anything in term of matching criteria for racing. Cheers!

You can rename ..\AppData\Local\AcTools Content Manager\Data\Track Categories\Mods.json to Mods.json_bak or delete it to get rid of mods.
Very good idea!!More specific categories would be also nice (hypercars,hybrid.etc).Thanks
