After having run Gran Turismo Sport in 2019, FIA announced a switch to Assetto Corsa Competizione for the 2nd instalment of the Motorsport Games. The event will see esports racers worldwide compete against each other on the digital version of Circuit Paul Ricard.
Amongst the 17 fields is an esports competition which allows every nation to send a representative digital racer. More than 80 sim racers are expected to compete, all of which need to graduate through a knock-out system to participate in the finals.

What are the FIA Motorsport Games?
From 26th until 30th of October 2022, the FIA Motorsport Games will determine the nation with the best racers. Across 17 disciplines, every national FIA-backed sporting authority may nominate drivers for each discipline. Example competitions are Auto Slalom, Endurance, GT or Rally.
