I decided to take some time away from a monstrous track i've been working on the past couple of years to build a small track i'm about to do some real-life kart racing on. It's a track in Kent, Washington (US) that's used for motorcycles, drifting and kart racing and i did a few qualifying laps last week. Holy hell it's fun to get away from the sim racing and do the real thing once in awhile!
So what's this all about? I work for a game company called PopCap games and we're doing an "endurance challenge" on this track the first of July to help raise money for Children's Hospital here in Seattle. To get the edge on our opposition, i decided to pull the track out of Google Earth and into BTB for a marathon track building spree that could help get my teammates more familiar with the track. I managed to crank out a fairly decent version of it in 2 very full days of track construction that i feel pretty good about. I don't plan to release it just yet, but if people are interested, i'd be willing to do a little polish on it and then officially release it.
In the meantime, here's a link to the website for the actual raceway:

Here's a video of one lap on the track:
Here's a link to more info about the event:

And here's a link to our fund raising site - if anyone's feeling like helping out a hospital that treats kids from around the world when they need very specialized help:

Cheers!
