Where is the time when I could watch it on TV, and when it actually was located in the right place ?

Terrorists in Mali ruined that for us. It still feels wrong to have a "Dakar" in South America although the environment is overwhelming beautiful.

completely agree, although i was younger and didn't care as much as i do now, i think it was way better when it actually finished in Dakar, and when ot finished in Dakar it started in Lisbon sometimes and i could watch it live , unfortunately i didn't had the chance to see it , damm terrorists .
I like this year's route, it's a point to point route again and it doesn't finishes in the same place it starts like in the previous years.
looking forward to another edition of dakar

What would be really cool is that they make this a Trans-Am rally. Starting in Argentina and go up north and finish at the Baja 500 route or something
