2019 Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix

If LeClerc pulls it off (and looking like he will), this will be a great story. Only 2nd race in a Ferrari and didn't have a great start - he showed tremendous composure and racecraft to put himself in a position to control this race.

I will probably get rocks thrown at my head for this, but I'm always surprised to see people wanting to go back to simpler engine tech when there are failures. In this case, it might be a "heat of the moment" judgement coming off a race where a mechanical failure was THE story of the race, but... mechanical failure has been part of grand prix racing since day 1. It sucks but teams need to engineer right at the limit of maximizing performance and finishing the race, that's a big part of the entertainment value for me.

If we ever see F1 having long stretches of no (or virtually no) retirements, I personally would wonder if the regs aren't pressuring the teams into pushing the envelope like they should be.
