I just installed the new updated version today. It said it couldn't save but it did. Now before I did this I exited ACC after a 90 minute race at Bathurst and had 145 attempts to insert info into ACC Companion. I think this is an unfortunate side effect of opening up the monitoring so that I can record spectated sessions, or sessions where there is a driver change and you are not the first driver.

When you quit a race, ACC tells me a new practice session has started (when in fact you are back at the menu). The next time a session changes, this gets recorded with your last lap of the previous session. I need to figure out a way of differentiating these from real sessions
If you spectate a session or don't complete any laps (but others do), then this will show as Unknown Car. There won't be any Player Car laps, but there will be in All Cars and Final Standings. I'll be changing this at some point - probably show your car if you were sat in the garage, and "N/A" if you were a spectator

Hi David,
I'm curious to see how this happened. The check that issues dialog box ("Cannot start ACC Results Companion - instances already running") will only called once for every time you start ARC. It does not have any facility to auto-restart on a crash - it sounds like something is attempting to repetitively start ARC.

Can you provide diagnostics (instructions here) and I can check if that reveals any clues

Hi, my google-fu is failing me here. Hasany one else had an issue where ACC results companion only shows their car? No errors jumping out at me in logs.

It looks like the broadcast connection isn't being made to ACC. Can you upload the diagnostics to me - instructions can be found here

It didn't do in in the new race I just finished since I installed the new version. DO I need to have it running when I'm in ACC for it to collect data?

When you quit a race, ACC tells me a new practice session has started (when in fact you are back at the menu). The next time a session changes, this gets recorded with your last lap of the previous session. I need to figure out a way of differentiating these from real sessions

If you spectate a session or don't complete any laps (but others do), then this will show as Unknown Car. There won't be any Player Car laps, but there will be in All Cars and Final Standings. I'll be changing this at some point - probably show your car if you were sat in the garage, and "N/A" if you were a spectator

This clears up a lot of why it doesn't always happens, thank you

The diagnostics uploaded ok - I'll have a look now. And yes, ARC must be running while ACC is running or it won't be able to collect data

There's two main problems

It is looking for the ACC files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assetto Corsa Competizione" but it is failing to find them. Is this the correct location? It seems a bit odd as ACC should install its data files to "<Documents>\Assetto Corsa Competizione". You can correct the folder by going to the settings page
After you do this, if you haven't already got ACC's broadcasting configured, ARC will put up a dialog (below) allowing you to set this up. I'd suggest using the defaults of port=9000 and password=asd, and then press Save

On 30/1 at 18:17, something was attempting to spawn new instances of ARC (ACCResults.exe) every couple of seconds. This sounds like a system related issue. I'd suggest you reboot
- EDIT: The only way I could reproduce this was to select the ACC Results Companion icon on the desktop and lean on the Enter key for a number of seconds. I guess we can thank Bill Gates for that feature

The location ACC uses should be "Assetto Corsa Competizione" in your documents folder - ie

If you can't find it, highlight your drive and type "Assetto Corsa Competizione" in the search box

I've got a few folders - some used for download and some for test, but you should be able to find it.

The contents will look like this

Hi Doug Duthie, I rebooted my computer last night. Not sure what I did if anything but after a quick session today it transferred info into the app and worked. So thanks for the help and sorry for all the bother.

one of my MP practice sessions some days ago did not get recorded, although ARC was running. Didnt bother me too much, as I only did 4-5 laps. But on discord someone else was reporting that for a session the next day.

Would debug info be helpful for you here?

This screen (see below) is a bit of a struggle to use as it frequently goes black and the application is Not Responding. If one waits (10-30 sec) it eventually works, until a parameter is changed (say, date range tick box) then it repeats the above.

I can't reproduce this one at the moment, but I'm going to keep an eye on it. It sounds as though events are being missed - whether this is the control, the app or Windows, I can't tell at the moment.

Can you go through all the steps in order to reproduce this (from starting ARC). Once it starts working, is it good, or does it always revert to this unresponsive state? Is the rest of the app unresponsive while this happens. I've still got a copy of your ARC environment from December, so I'll see if I can reproduce

Also, while ACC and ARC are running, can you give me a screen shot of your memory usages (from Task Manager)

Also, can you show me the summary page of System Information
