Cant hear some modded cars when driven by other players

Hey, I have a problem with a few modded cars. When I drive the car, I can hear it perfectly fine. But when an opponent drives it, (offline and online) I can't hear it anymore. Original AC cars are working without any problems.

Exterior sounds don't work in cars that haven't been updated for the big sound engine update which was 2015 iirc. Maybe get some mods that are up to date

Could i just replace the sound of the old car with a newer one?

Yes. That can be done very easily in CM, content->cars->select cars, then click Replace sound. Sound isn't the only thing that isn't up to date in mods that old but whatever floats your boat.

So today I tried it, when playing offline everything worked, but online I couldnt hear the cars :/
