CM Audio not working HELP!! pls

Hi,

When I use content manager I get no engine audio like the title says. all I get is crash, bumps and rumble strip sounds. I am using a Oculus rift but it does not matter if i swap to monitor its still the same.

Things i have tried.

setting audio to rift in CM and also windows,
setting audio to speakers ( high def audio ) in both CM and Windows.
Delete CM and reinstall ( works fine until I reboot my pc ) not doing this everytime !
verifyied install in steam
All sound leveles are at 100% in CM and Windows
Set Rift audio to default

Its weird because it works fine when launching Assetto from the original launcher so it must be a CM issue.

Any help would be really appreciated.

UPDATE>

Just delete the GUID's file in the sfx folder for the car and its all sorted.
