Degrees of rotation

I read a lot about degrees of rotation ad how the G27 has 900, which is apparently very good.
However, I use only 214 degrees and set the steering angle in Rfactor to usually somewhere around 25 degrees.
Most set ups people send me are using a far less degree of steering angle which to me means they are having to turn the wheel miles.

Does the degree of rotation directly affect how far you turn the wheel and what does anyone recommend as a good standard?

Sorry, I just find rFactor so much more engaging using the dashboard as opposed to the HUD.

Yeah, I have absolutely nothing on my screen except for the actual game so...

Apart from the little Pitting Info screen of course

Same here. And even then, I get rid of that as soon as I leave the pit lane.

IMO higher degrees of rotation gives you better ffb feeling.

There's a parametter in controller.ini about wheel rotation. I'll experiment with it a bit later on, see if it does the trick.

I have the same feeling !
At the moment i use 720 degree for older Touring Cars (TCMasters for example) and 540 for modern GT Racing Cars.

On videos of monaco you see in Reality Senna Mc Laren drives 460 degree with 21 Steering Lock (i read in the www)

By the way, I think that 80's Touring cars used 900°... As well as Rally cars from this era...
