I have the same desire. Accidentally skipped to qually rather than doing the 3rd insanely easy R&D run, then the game crashed and decided I should qualify in 24th... despite having reached Q3 for every race so far!

For windows 7 64 Bits or 32 Bits is ...C://Programs x86/Steam/SteamApps/common/F12011/database
Right click on database.bin properties previous version ...copy it (previous version) on your desktop... delete database.bin and so put the database.bin of your desktop in C://Programs x86/Steam/SteamApps/common/F12011/database ... verify integrity of game cache with steam if u have it and so launch the game (work 1/3) sorry for my english lol
