I think they're down to their RC1, I saw it last night online.

Depends. Maybe they start with Release Candidate 1 and then move up.

I saw Reiza comment on another thread about holding off on a reinstall as we'll "need to do one" in a few days anyway!! And that comment was made a day or 2 ago.

Well in a few days you´ll have to reinstall anyway so you might as well hold out for that.

FWIW - GSC2012 will not have loose rfm, hdv, tbc, .pm or scn files in folders. So the chances of getting a mismatch running an unaltered install should be zero.

Anyone else having trouble accessing http://www.reizastudios.com/ ? I get a "forbidden access" message. Maybe they are doing server maintenance in prep for the release? I know it is wishful thinking, but I can't wait for GSC 2012. I think I've watched the Londrina gameplay video 20 times in the last week.

Just an update from last nights post; its 725am as i write this and i still cant get onto the Reiza site.
Could be one reason from many, but I'm temped to say they are either suffering some kind of technical problem, or havent paid their ISP bill or they are doing some work serverside in preparedness for the upcoming update.

Ooooor, someone might have pulled the plug out of the server so as they can use the wire to boil the kettle for a cup of tea, and failed to plug it back in.

Quick question. If i make a new install for GSC 2012 do i still need to update the orginal game to 1.7?

GSC2012 is a complete new install on its own folder. You can keep or uninstall the original, up to you.

If you had the original GSC activated, you should be able to start GSC2012 straightaway with no need to activate it.
