CPU upgrade worked well, much lower load now and up to 20 AI cars possible with 90fps in Spa Hopefully it also works online, but I'm sure it will. Not much time to test now...

I have always ran triple 1080p worth of pixels from my first 6600k.and 980ti at 144hz. ( plus a short spell with VR ) (1440x1280 )x2
I have found that putting a lot of effort into ensuring that my system ran at its optimal settings meant I have never had problems that actually caused me not to race trouble free.

Background activities at zero
Minimum apps
Pc set to max performance
Computer not allowed to shut down any inputs
Nvidia control panel optimised.
Processor at max reliable frequency
Ram at max reliable frequency
Never clocked the GPU, always seemed to create more problems than it solved.
All the above is important to having reliable racing online.

Specific problem discussed here at Racedepartment forum are a bonus.
We are lucky to have Rasmus, who can advise better than I on any of the above

Maybe I would not have chosen VR if I had known HOW much more ressources it needs compared to a tripple setup (with my reverb G2 it has to render 2x 4k pixels, which is intense for the GPU and CPU as well). Nevertheless I’am happy with it now. One big point you mentioned are the shitty-windows background processes. They can really sum up…

late but first of all well done Robert so close, race was really hard knowing that Robert was faster i went for strategy big fuel at the start to gain some seconds in the pit lane and no tyres change it worked . 1 thing i noticed in the qualy the rss lose alot of time for changing the tyres is the same for the urd? cause otherwise can be a big problem . thank you Brian as always for hosting those events
