Funky you say . But that is really only possible if the server allows it - Correct ?
Lets say you have a sever where the admin don't want to many Mismatches when players enters.

So he turns mismatches OFF . Then it can get funky right ?

Then it can get really crazy, yes!

I tried using Stig's Lucky Strike skin, and now rF2 CTD while loading East London. I'll try some other tracks and cars.

Have you done everything according to the instructions the real pros post with their skins?

I thought I did. I tried other cars/mods at East London and still CTD. I removed the skin and tried Dissenter at other tracks, and all is good. I unsubscribed to East London and re-subscribed, I still get CTD while loading East London even with the BT20. Is there another file I need to delete? Thanks.

I'm having the same problem tonight with East London and ther number #24.
Played ok last night. There was a whole load of workshop updates but not one for EL.

I'm not using any skin's.

Tried the server, same problem with #2....

its not the server its the track itself the problem since the update, i've tried it without custom skin online and it doesn't work and i also tried it without custom skin in single player mode and it doesn't work either and i also tried it with another non mod car and still doesn't work

@Denis Betty you might have to use another track

Well yes... the best laid plans.... but the track is completely borked. So I guess I'd better look for another track.
